Court decision inquiry; can be viewed on the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal by logging in with an e-Government password. With advancing technology, court-related procedures and inquiries can be carried out more quickly through the e-Government system. This allows people to monitor the progress of lawsuits filed against them as often as they wish. At the same time, it helps prevent potential confusion about case files. Every detail about courts and lawsuits can be learned via e-Government. Alternatively, all court decisions and the course of a case can also be accessed through UYAP.

How to Check Court Decision Results via e-Government?
To learn the result of a court decision through the e-Government system, follow these steps:
- Visit the official e-Government website.
- On the homepage, a list of available institutions and services is shown. Select the Ministry of Justice from this list.
- Click the “Case File Inquiry” service provided under the Ministry of Justice.
- On the opened page, identity verification is required. Click the “Verify my identity now” button. Identity can be verified using an e-Government password, mobile signature, electronic signature, internet banking, or the Turkish ID card. Those without an e-Government password or who have forgotten it can obtain a password from a PTT branch. For citizens abroad, e-Government passwords can be issued by consulates.
- If there is a case filed in the person’s name, the case details will appear on this page. If there is no case, a note indicating that there is no case record will be shown.
E-Government portal can be used to access the service directly.
How to Learn Court Decision Results via UYAP?
You can also check the result of a court decision through UYAP. For this, access the UYAP citizen portal. Court and case files can be examined through that portal. Previously, court decision inquiries were available only via UYAP, but today UYAP and the e-Government system cooperate. For this reason, users can obtain court decision information from both UYAP and the e-Government system.
UYAP citizen portal can be used to learn court results.
How to Query Decision Information from the E-Government System?
Those who want to query decision information via the e-Government system should first log in to the portal. After logging in, perform identity verification using the login button. From the list of institutions, select the Ministry of Interior. Click the “Decision Information Inquiry” option among the services offered by that ministry. All decisions related to the query subject’s case files will be listed on this page.
What Can Be Learned by Querying a Court Case File?
A case file can be queried using the Turkish ID number, the Prosecutor General’s Office notification number, the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation file number, or the local court’s case and decision numbers.
The information that can be obtained from such a query includes the following:
- Whether the file has been entered into the Court of Cassation archive.
- Whether the public prosecutor has examined the file.
- Which criminal chamber the file was sent to, and the chamber’s file number.
- Whether the file has been returned from the relevant criminal chamber.
- The current status regarding whether the file has been posted back to the local court for its proceedings.
Why Are Some Files Not Available for Query on the E-Government System?
Users who used to follow case outcomes, progress, and hearing dates on the e-Government system may sometimes encounter difficulties viewing some cases. While details for certain files are still shown, others may no longer be accessible through the e-Government portal.
This situation occurs because access to some files has been removed from the e-Government system. However, it remains possible to access these files through the UYAP portal. UYAP is accessible not only to lawyers and judicial personnel but also to citizens. For case files that cannot be viewed on the e-Government system, users can log in to UYAP with their e-Government password to perform a court decision inquiry.
