12 More Drugs Added to the Reimbursement List! Good news continues from the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk. According to the minister’s announcement, those medicines have been included in the reimbursement list. Minister Selçuk stated that, among the newly added drugs, 3 are for heart conditions, 2 for pulmonary hypertension, 2 are blood products, and 1 treats a congenital metabolic disorder — a total of 12 medicines have been added to the reimbursement list.

In her statement, Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk also provided information about recent amendments to the Health Practices Communiqué (SUT). She noted that 12 additional medicines have been included on the reimbursement list. With the 14 generic equivalents already covered and the 12 newly added drugs published with the SUT, the total number of reimbursed medicines has reached 8,636.

The number of drugs on the reimbursement list has reached 8,636. Following the minister’s announcement, 12 more medicines were added and the count of reimbursed medicines rose to 8,636. Minister Selçuk clarified that, under the SUT revision, the newly reimbursed products include three heart medications, two blood products, two pulmonary hypertension treatments, one antibiotic, one antiviral, a drug for a congenital metabolic disorder, an anti-nausea medicine used in cancer care, and a medication for neonatal hemangioma.

Minister Selçuk also noted that a change was made regarding a medicine already reimbursed for use in treating patients with myasthenia gravis. She reminded citizens that reimbursed drugs can be obtained from pharmacies contracted with the Social Security Institution. Minister Selçuk expressed her hope that the medicines added to the reimbursement list will bring healing to patients.
