Check PTT Account Status Online (Track PTT Account)

When sending or receiving money through PTT from one place to another or to another person, if you do not have an account, you can only withdraw the sent funds from the branch or central office that processed the transfer. With a PTT Account, however, you can withdraw funds from any PTT branch or PTTmatik across the country, and you can perform transfers quickly and conveniently via the Phone and Internet Branch services regardless of the originating branch.

How to Open a PTT Account?

You can quickly open a PTT Account (postal checking account) by applying in person at your nearest PTT branch or any PTT center in a different region. If you are a Turkish citizen, bring your national ID card, driver’s license, or passport. If you are a foreign national, present your passport or residence permit. Once opened, your PTT Account lets you deposit and withdraw money from anywhere in the country free of charge and rapidly. You can also transfer money to any other PTT Account for a low fee and use your PTTkart for purchases subject to your available balance.

You can open a PTT Account in Turkish Lira (TL) or in foreign currency such as USD or EURO. During account opening, a one-time small security amount called a “security deposit” is collected and retained until the account is closed (TL account: 5 TL; USD account: 1 USD; EURO account: 1 EURO).

Depositing Funds into a PTT Account (Postal Checking)

Depositing money into your own PTT Account is free. Fees for depositing funds into another person’s PTT Account or other transfer services can be checked on PTT’s official site.

Transferring Funds from a PTT Account (Postal Checking)

Fees for transferring money from your PTT Account (postal checking) via a PTT branch, Interactive Postal Checking (İPÇ), or PTTmatik are available on the official PTT pages.

How to Check a PTT Account (Postal Checking Account)?

PTT Account Inquiry (account information, balance, transaction history, payment details) can be performed in person at PTT branches as well as at PTTmatik terminals, via the ALO PTT phone line (444 1 788), and through the Interactive Postal Checking (İPÇ) service.

Although account inquiries, transaction history, balance checks, fund transfers, bill payments, and authorization instructions can be completed at branches, PTTmatik devices, or by phone, internet and digital services allow you to perform these operations easily and more quickly from your home or workplace computer. To use online banking, visit any PTT branch and sign the “PTTBank Internet Banking Service Agreement.”

The process for PTT Account Inquiry through the Interactive Postal Checking application is straightforward and can be summarized in two steps: first, go to PTT’s official website; then click the online services menu at the top right. From the dropdown options, select the Interactive Postal Checking (İnteraktif Posta Çeki) section. A new page opens where you enter the account holder’s identification details into the fields provided to access the PTT Account Inquiry system.

If you encounter any issues while performing a PTT Account Inquiry or if your password becomes blocked, you can receive technical support by calling 444 1 788 (ALO PTT).
