In yesterday’s update, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca noted that the seven provinces with the lowest observed case numbers are Kars, Çanakkale, Bartın, Artvin, Ardahan, Kütahya and Yalova. The rate at which detected cases progress to pneumonia is declining nationwide. Increases or decreases in case numbers depend largely on adherence to mask-wearing and physical distancing rules, he said.
