How much is the SCT increase for cigarettes and tobacco products? According to the latest information, the specific lump-sum tax collected per pack of cigarettes has risen from 7.79 TL to 9.13 TL. This change reflects an adjustment to the Special Consumption Tax rates applied to tobacco products.

By presidential decision, the minimum lump-sum tax per cigarette has been raised from 0.3899 TL to 0.4569 TL. This represents a 17.2% rise in the per-cigarette lump-sum component, which results in the per-pack lump-sum tax increasing from 7.79 TL to 9.13 TL. The tax change for the lump-sum amount collected per pack has been published in the Official Gazette and is therefore confirmed. Under this regulation, the overall increase for cigarettes corresponds to a 67% adjustment factor, with the lump-sum tax per cigarette now set at 0.4569 TL.
