In his statement accompanying the latest data, Minister Fahrettin Koca reiterated that the seven provinces with the largest declines in case numbers over the past three days are Kars, Çanakkale, Bartın, Artvin, Ardahan, Kütahya and Yalova. He emphasized that the nationwide rate of cases progressing to pneumonia is falling and that rises or falls in case numbers are linked to public compliance with mask use and social distancing measures.
