High School Make-up Exam Dates Announced! The make-up exam schedule for high school students and preparatory class students has been set. According to the announcement, make-up exams for high school and preparatory students will take place from June 22 to June 30, 2020.

According to the circular issued by the Ministry of National Education Directorate General of Secondary Education to provincial directorates, students who are successful in all courses and students with failed courses whose year-end achievement score is at least 50 will be promoted directly to the next grade. Students who cannot be promoted directly — regardless of the total number of failed courses, including those from lower grades — will be carried to the next grade as conditionally promoted (responsible) without separating by subject or setting a threshold.

Which grade levels can take the high school make-up exams? For the 2019–2020 academic year, the eligible groups for this year’s high school make-up exam are clearly indicated. Students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 of high school, as well as students currently enrolled in preparatory class, are eligible to take the 2019–2020 High School Make-up Exam.

The make-up exams for the 2019–2020 academic year are scheduled between June 22, 2020 and June 30, 2020. All necessary health and safety measures to prevent COVID-19 will be implemented during the examinations. Students who sit for the High School Make-up Exam will be tested on topics and learning outcomes taught during the first semester of the 2019–2020 academic year.
