Ensar Foundation 2021 Scholarship Application applications are submitted online. The evaluation process consists of two stages. First, the information provided on the application form is reviewed. Candidates who pass this initial review are invited to an interview. Scholarships are awarded to those who succeed in the interview. If any information submitted during the application is incorrect, the application will not be considered for evaluation.
Applications that are automatically cancelled cannot be appealed. The foundation occasionally organizes events and requests that scholarship recipients participate. When events are scheduled, students who receive scholarships are notified directly using the contact information they provided and are kindly asked to attend.
What Are the Requirements to Apply for an Ensar Foundation Scholarship?
The conditions applicants must meet to receive a scholarship from the Ensar Foundation are listed below:
- Applicants must be registered in an undergraduate (bachelor’s) program. Applicants enrolled in associate degree, open education, or distance education programs are not eligible for scholarships.
- Scholarships are awarded to students studying at universities located in Istanbul. These universities must be listed in the Higher Education Council’s (YÖK) registry. Applications from students enrolled at universities outside Istanbul will not be evaluated.
- Only applications submitted through the foundation’s official website are accepted. Applications sent by e-mail, mail, text message, or fax are not accepted.
- Each applicant is given a preliminary evaluation score based on the information provided to the foundation. Twice as many candidates as the number of scholarships available are invited to the interview based on these scores.
- Students who have successfully completed their preparatory year or who are enrolled in later years must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for a scholarship.
- Final scholarship recipients are determined according to the evaluations conducted by the Ensar Foundation Values Education Center.
- The application form must be completed fully and all required documents must be submitted when applying.
- If a scholarship recipient travels abroad without suspending enrollment, they must inform the Ensar Foundation for the scholarship to continue.
Which Documents Are Required for an Ensar Foundation Scholarship Application?
Applicants must prepare the following documents when submitting a scholarship application to the Ensar Foundation:
- A student certificate issued within the last 30 days must be provided.
- The ÖSYS placement document (university placement certificate) is required.
- A photocopy of the applicant’s identity card is required.
- If the applicant is enrolled in a later year, they must submit an official transcript showing their grades. Applicants who have completed the preparatory year are not required to submit a grade report. All submitted documents must be signed and officially certified.
- One passport-size photograph is required.
- An official document proving the family’s financial situation is required. Salaried employees must provide a payroll slip; self-employed applicants should provide a copy of their tax return. If the parents have no income, a document from the Social Security Institution indicating no registered income must be submitted.
- The IBAN of a TL account opened in the applicant’s name at Albaraka Türk Participation Bank is required.
- A criminal record certificate issued within the last 30 days is required.
- A signed commitment letter (taahhütname) is required.

Applicants who wish to receive a scholarship from the Ensar Foundation must submit their application online. They should visit the foundation’s scholarship application portal.
