Public institutions and organizations continue to recruit personnel. Candidates who meet the specified requirements can submit applications for many different positions. Based on job postings published in the Official Gazette and İŞKUR, the aim is to hire 300 personnel for various public institutions.
For security guard positions, applicants are required to have at least a high school diploma. In addition to general requirements, candidates must meet position-specific conditions. Those who satisfy these criteria may apply.
WHAT ARE THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT?
A significant number of staff are planned to be employed within universities affiliated with public institutions. Candidates applying for security guard positions must meet specific requirements. Some of the general requirements for this role include the following:
- Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey.
- Not being restricted from public rights.
- For male candidates, having no unresolved military service obligations.
- Possessing a valid armed or unarmed protection and security guard license, as applicable.
Application criteria may vary by position, so candidates should review both the general and position-specific conditions before applying. Recruitment for protection and security guard roles is planned from candidates with at least a high school diploma.
IN WHICH PROVINCES WILL THE RECRUITMENT TAKE PLACE?
Many contractual security guard positions are expected to be filled across universities in Turkey. Several universities have published job announcements. Candidates who meet the published general and specific requirements can submit applications accordingly.
The institutions and the number of positions available for applicants who meet the requirements are as follows:
- Cumhuriyet University – 20
- Osmangazi University – 50
- Bozok University – 15
- Istanbul University – 70
- Afyon Kocatepe University – 20
- Gümüşhane University – 2
In addition to security guard roles, these universities may recruit for other positions. Applicants who meet the stated requirements can submit their applications. Residence in a specific province is not required to apply for these announcements.
