Rising prices in both new and used car markets have forced many people to postpone their plans to buy a vehicle. In addition to the global semiconductor shortage and raw material issues affecting the automotive industry, increased demand in Turkey, exchange rate volatility and high taxes have driven prices considerably higher.
Prices continued to climb into 2023, and new price lists were announced as of February. The updated February 2023 new car price lists from major global automakers have been released. Models priced under 500,000 TL are being closely watched.
