Breaking: Mask Mandate Imposed in Another Province
According to the latest information, a new mask mandate has been implemented in another province. Due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in Kilis, the provincial governor’s office announced that wearing masks will be mandatory. The announcement from the Kilis Governorate states that, as case numbers increase across the city, the Provincial Public Health Board has adopted new measures to combat the outbreak.
Per the announcement, starting at 24:00 on the night between Tuesday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 15, and until a second decision is issued, wearing a mask is compulsory. Under the decision, everyone residing in the province or present outside their homes must wear masks that cover both the mouth and nose in all indoor and outdoor public areas. Inspections will be carried out, and those who do not comply with the specified restrictions will face administrative fines.
