How to Register Your Phone Number on e-Devlet (Turkish Gov Portal)

Every individual who brings a phone into our country from abroad must legalize the device by registering it with the national e-Government system if the phone was not purchased domestically. Until registration is completed, using the phone is not permitted. There are several online methods for completing the registration; one of these is the e-Government (E-Devlet) phone registration process. This article provides all the information you need to complete that process.

What you need for e-Government phone registration: the device IMEI number, the passport holder’s e-Government password (E-Devlet password), or the ability for the passport holder to accompany a GSM dealer to the Subscriber Registration Center. A fee of 115 TL is charged for these procedures. To use the e-Government service you must have your E-Devlet password; if you do not have one, you can obtain it from PTT branches for a fee of 2 TL.

How to Complete E-Devlet Phone Registration

  • To start the e-Government phone registration, click the relevant link provided on the official service page.
  • On the opened page, click the “Verify My Identity Now” button.
  • Log in to the system by entering your Turkish Republic identification number (T.C. identity number) and your E-Devlet password.
  • On the e-Government phone registration page, under “Personal Information”, complete the fields for “Application Type”, “Status” and “Mobile Phone” accurately and completely.
  • Under the “Device Information” section, enter your device IMEI in the “IMEI No 1” field. If you do not know your IMEI, you can find it by dialing *#06# on the device.
  • If you have a dual-SIM phone or a device with multiple IMEIs, fill in the “IMEI No 2” and “IMEI No 3” fields accordingly.
  • Under “Entry Document Details”, fill in the fields for “Country of the Document”, “Entry Document Number” and “Date of Entry into the Country” accurately, then click the “Continue” button.

After completing these steps correctly, your e-Government phone registration will be finalized and your device will be legalized for use in the country.
