e-Government Social Cash Assistance Inquiry
To check social assistance via the e-Government system, follow these steps:
- Open the official e-Government website at turkiye.gov.tr.
- Log in with your Turkish ID number and e-Government password. (NOTE: If you do not have an e-Government password, you can obtain one at the nearest PTT branch.)
- Type “Social Assistance Information Inquiry” in the search bar and go to the relevant page.
- On the page, select the institution where you applied for social assistance. İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) provides various social supports to residents who face financial difficulties due to poverty, unemployment, disability, old age or illness. İBB social assistance is offered in both in-kind and cash forms:
1) In-kind Assistance
Covers needs such as food, clothing, fuel, household goods, housing, health, education and transportation.
2) Cash Assistance
Includes categories such as social cash assistance, natural gas support, water aid, electricity aid, rent assistance, funeral assistance, disability assistance, elderly support, aid for relatives of martyrs and veterans, student support, unemployment assistance, women’s aid, child support and animal-related aid.
