State Hydraulic Works Hiring 908 Permanent Workers: Apply Now

The General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) announced recruitment for 908 workers. In accordance with the Labor Law No. 4857 and the Regulation on Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Recruitment of Workers to Public Institutions and Organizations, 908 permanent workers will be hired for the Agency’s provincial organization by lottery conducted by a notary, without any examination.

The vacancies will be announced in the Open Public Job Listings section of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) on 17.04.2023 and will remain open for five days. What Are the Application Requirements for the DSİ 908 Worker Recruitment?

The application requirements for this recruitment are listed below:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must not receive a pension, old-age, or disability allowance from any social security institution.
  • Must not have any health problem that prevents continuous performance of duties.
  • Must meet the conditions specified in Law No. 2527 on Foreigners of Turkish Descent and in subparagraphs (1), (4), (6) and (7) of paragraph (A) of the first paragraph of Article 48 of Law No. 657 on Civil Servants.
  • According to Article 4, paragraph 1(c) of the Regulation on Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Recruitment of Workers to Public Institutions and Organizations, candidates must not have been convicted of crimes against the security of the State, crimes against the constitutional order and its functioning, crimes against national defense, crimes against state secrets and espionage, or crimes such as embezzlement, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, breach of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, bid rigging, obstruction of performance of an obligation, laundering of assets derived from crime or smuggling, even if pardoned.
  • Must not currently serve as a permanent worker in the headquarters or provincial organization of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works.
  • Must not have any impediment to appointment according to the result of archive and security investigations conducted under Law No. 7315 on Security Investigation and Archive Research and related legislation.
  • Candidates with priority rights for placement must hold documents proving their priority status as described in Article 5, paragraph 1 of the Regulation. Priority status alone will not guarantee placement; priority candidates will be entered into the lottery under the same conditions as other applicants.
  • Candidates must have a full-board health committee report from a State Hospital showing they have no physical or mental conditions that would prevent work, and that they can work under field conditions. (This will be required from candidates who earn appointment rights.)
  • Candidates must have a psychotechnical report issued by psychotechnical centers approved by the Ministry of Health. (This will be required from candidates who earn appointment rights.)

Application Details

  • Each applicant may apply for only one occupation listed in the İŞKUR announcement.
  • Applications will be evaluated based on the addresses registered in the Address Based Population Registration System.
  • Documents of candidates who are provisionally selected for appointment will be checked. Candidates who do not meet the required qualifications or who have made false, misleading or untrue statements will not be appointed. If appointed, their appointment will be canceled.
  • Candidates who meet the position requirements but fail to submit the requested documents within the allotted time, fail to start duty within the prescribed period after appointment, or who withdraw will not be appointed. Their places will be filled from the reserve list, starting with the first eligible candidate.
  • Hired workers will be subject to a four-month probationary period. Employment contracts of workers who fail during probation will be terminated. Vacancies created by terminations during probation will be filled from the reserve list, starting with the first eligible candidate.
  • Lottery results, lists of primary and reserve candidates, documents and information related to appointments, and all other announcements will be published on the Regional Directorates’ websites. No written notification will be sent to candidates; the published announcement will serve as notification.
  • Appointed personnel will not be allowed to request transfer for three years.
