WHEN ARE PENSIONS PAID?
Pensions are deposited into retirees’ bank accounts on specific days each month. The payment date depends on the retiree’s insurance type, retirement date and the initial letter of their surname.
Payment scheduling is generally as follows:
4A Pension Payment Dates
Payments are made between the 17th and 26th of each month. The exact day is determined by the first letter of the retiree’s surname.
For example: a 4A retiree whose surname begins with A receives their pension on the 17th of each month. A retiree whose surname begins with Z receives it on the 26th.
4B Pension Payment Dates
Payments are made between the 25th and 28th of each month. The exact day is determined by the retiree’s retirement date.
For example: a 4B retiree who retired between the 1st and 10th of the month receives the pension on the 25th; one who retired between the 11th and 20th receives it on the 26th; and one who retired between the 21st and 31st receives it on the 27th.
4C Pension Payment Dates
Payments are made between the 1st and 5th of each month. The exact day is determined by the first letter of the retiree’s surname.
For example: a 4C retiree whose surname begins with A receives their pension on the 1st; one whose surname begins with Z receives it on the 5th.
