SGK entitlement refers to a financial benefit provided to employees who become unable to work due to a work accident or an occupational disease, or who are unable to work for a certain period. The process of checking whether you are receiving this benefit is called the SGK entitlement inquiry. Below, we explain in detail how to perform this inquiry online.
The service you will use is a secured website. To access it, you must have an E-Government (E-Devlet) password. You can obtain this password from any post office branch. When you apply at the post office, you will need to complete a password request form and provide identification details along with a 2 TL processing fee. After completing these steps, your password will be delivered to you in a sealed envelope. You can use this password for all transactions on the E-Government system. For security reasons, do not share your password with anyone. The password is personal and allows transactions only on your behalf.
How to Perform an SGK Entitlement Inquiry?
To perform the SGK entitlement inquiry, first click the internet address provided at the end of this article. On the page that appears, locate and click the “Verify My Identity Now” (Kimliğimi Şimdi Doğrula) option highlighted on the site. Clicking this opens the identity verification platform where you must complete the identity authentication process.
After completing the initial step, the identity verification platform will appear. On that screen, fill in the required fields: your Turkish ID number (T.C. identity number) and your E-Government password. Enter these details accurately and completely. Once the fields are filled, click the “Log In to the System” (Sisteme Giriş Yap) button usually located near the bottom of the page.
Following these steps will successfully complete your SGK entitlement inquiry through the E-Government system. The results and related information will then be displayed on the screen for you to review.
