The registration renewal and exam dates for the 2020–2021 term of the Open High School (AÖL) first term have been announced. AÖL exams were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and registration renewal deadlines were also delayed. The new rescheduled dates are approaching. According to an announcement from the Ministry of National Education, AÖL exams will be held on July 25–26, 2020.
The Open Education High School exams, originally planned for earlier dates, were rescheduled from July 4–5, 2020 to July 25–26, 2020. The Ministry issued further details regarding the Open Education exams.
Because of the adjustments required for technical preparations and changes in the exam calendar, the second term exams for the 2019–2020 academic year for Open Primary School, Open High School, Vocational Open High School, and Open Imam Hatip High School were set for July 25–26, 2020. The decision considered the 30-day technical preparation period needed for open education institutions’ examinations.
2020–2021 AÖL Registration Renewal Dates
Following the postponements caused by the coronavirus and the updated exam schedule, the registration renewal timeline for the 2020–2021 Open High School first term has been determined as follows.
- First-time registrations and registration renewals for the 2020–2021 AÖL first term will be accepted from August 24 to October 9, 2020.
- Entrance documents for the 2020–2021 AÖL first term exam will be published on December 2, 2020.
- The 2020–2021 AÖL first term final exam will take place on December 5, 2020; the date for announcing results will be announced later.
