Agriculture and Forestry Ministry Hiring 1,833 Contracted Staff

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will recruit 1,833 contracted personnel to work at the General Directorate of Forestry in 2022. Specific requirements are necessary to apply. After evaluation of applicants’ scores and a verbal interview, placement procedures will begin immediately. Applications will be submitted online. The application deadline for candidates is April 10, 2022.

1,833 Personnel to Be Placed

The announcement from the General Directorate of Forestry covers contract appointments in three categories: Forest Engineer, Forest Industry Engineer, and Forest Protection Officer. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry published the required qualifications for each category on its website. The process will follow a clear order: eligibility requirements, number of positions, written and oral examination procedures, required documents, publication of quotas, and final placement.

Contracted Forest Engineer and Forest Industry Engineer Recruitment

The recruitment for contracted Forest Engineers will fill 283 positions. For Forest Industry Engineers, 50 positions will be filled. The application procedures for both positions will run together. Completion of processes and announcements to candidates will be made on the General Directorate of Forestry’s official website.

Candidates who take the exam will also be able to view results through the Presidential Career Gate platform.

  • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be graduates of a forestry engineering program.
  • The KPSS 2020 score will be considered in the process.
  • Candidates who meet the specific criteria listed in the Council of Ministers’ service contract must submit a full medical report to apply.
  • Applications can be submitted through the recruitment portal using an e-Devlet password.
  • The application period closes at 23:59 on April 10.
  • Exam locations and times will be published on the General Directorate of Forestry’s website. Candidates can check with an e-Devlet password. Bringing a photo ID to the exam is mandatory.
  • Oral and written exam results will be evaluated according to a scoring system. Candidates scoring at least 70 points will be considered successful.
  • If success scores are tied, the KPSS P3 score will be used. Primary and reserve candidates can be viewed on the Career Gate platform with an e-Devlet password.
  • Within 20 days of the announcement, successful candidates must apply to the General Directorate in person. Placements by province will be made to provincial organizations according to designated quotas.

Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry — Forest Protection Officer Recruitment

After written and oral examinations are completed, the General Directorate of Forestry will recruit 1,500 Forest Protection Officers. All related announcements will be published on the General Directorate’s website. Candidates may also review results on the Presidential Career Gate platform when available.

What Are the Application Requirements?

Specific requirements apply for the Forest Protection Officer recruitment. Candidates who meet these conditions may apply.

  • Applicants must have scored at least 65 on the 2020 KPSS exam.
  • Applicants must meet the conditions defined in Law No. 657 on civil servants.
  • Graduation from relevant associate or bachelor programs is required. Relevant fields include, for example, seedling cultivation, forest products, forest management, hunting and wildlife, and similar programs.
  • A full medical report from a fully equipped health institution is required. This report will be requested from those eligible to sign the contract.
  • Only applicants who meet the announced requirements and can document them will have their applications accepted.
  • If any document fraud is detected, the contract will be terminated even if the person has already signed and started duty, and legal action will be taken.

How Will the Oral and Written Exams Proceed?

Applications to work at the General Directorate of Forestry will be submitted via the recruitment portal using an e-Devlet password. The application period ends at 23:59 on April 10. Only applications submitted with an e-Devlet password will be accepted; postal or in-person applications will not be accepted. Candidates may list up to 20 preferences. Depending on the position, up to four times the number of available positions may be invited to apply. Oral and written exam participation and scoring will be determined later according to the established criteria.

Information about locations and times for oral and practical exams will be announced on the General Directorate of Forestry’s website. Candidates can log in with an e-Devlet password to check. Candidates must bring photo identification when attending the exam.

How Will Placement Be Made?

After the oral and written exams are complete, each candidate’s success status will determine their place on the quota list, which will be announced on the General Directorate of Forestry’s website. Successful candidates must apply to the General Directorate within 20 days.

If a primary candidate does not apply within the time limit, does not take up the post, fails to meet the required conditions, or has an unfavorable security investigation, reserve candidates will be called in order.
