Payments under the Turkey Family Support Program, launched by the Ministry of Family and Social Services in July 2022, continue to reach families in 2023. After the ministry processed January 2023 payments at the end of December, families began awaiting news about February payments. Many beneficiaries are wondering whether the payments have been increased.
The first payments under the Turkey Family Support Program, which the Ministry announced would begin at the end of June, were made in July and credited to families’ accounts just before the Eid al-Adha holiday. The ministry provides monthly assistance between 650 TL and 850 TL for eligible families and stated the payments would continue for 12 months.
How Much Are the Family Support Program Payments?
There has been no official statement yet about increases for 2023. The most recent adjustment to payments was applied from November and announced in October.
The ministry raised the program payments to the following amounts:
- 1,250 TL for households with income up to 450 TL,
- 1,100 TL for households with income over 450 TL and under 911.15 TL,
- 950 TL for households with income over 911.15 TL and under 1,372.30 TL,
- 850 TL for households with income over 1,372.30 TL and under 1,833.45 TL
Payments that were previously made on the 8th of each month are expected to be made on the 8th in February as well, though the ministry has not issued a final confirmation.
Payments Can Be Checked via e-Devlet
Beneficiaries of the Turkey Family Support Program can easily check whether payments have been deposited by using an e-Devlet service. Logging in to e-Devlet is the first step to confirm whether the ministry has processed payments under the program.
After signing into e-Devlet with a password, users can go to the “Sosyal Yardım Bilgileri Sorgulama” (Social Assistance Information Inquiry) section to see whether payments under the program have been made.
