Applicants who applied in 2020 and succeed in the interview will be able to begin their teaching duties. To pass the oral interview, candidates must receive a score of 60 or higher. Those who earn 60 points in the oral exam will be considered successful and will be eligible to make placement preferences for contracted teaching positions. Candidates who achieve at least 60 points in the interview have now set their sights on the final results.
Oral interviews for contracted teacher applications are scheduled between February 5 and February 22, 2020. Interview results will be announced on February 25, 2020. After the results are released, placement preference submissions will take place from March 9 to March 13, 2020, and final placement results will be announced on March 18, 2020.
How Are Contracted Teacher Placement Results Determined?
How are contracted teacher placement results determined? After applying for a contracted teaching role, candidates who pass the interview and submit preferences will have their placements processed according to the rules below.
- Candidates who score 60 or above in the oral exam may apply electronically to up to 40 educational institutions.
- Preferences can be made in any order among institutions located within the same province or across different provinces.
- All preferences will be submitted for approval to the relevant provincial or district directorate of national education.
- Candidates may change their preferences until the provincial or district directorate of national education approves their submissions.
As an option outside their preferences, candidates must choose one of the following:
- I do not want to be appointed to institutions outside my preferences,
- I want to be appointed to institutions outside my preferences. Candidates must select one of these options.
- Candidates who are not placed in any of their chosen preferences and who selected the “9.5.2.” option will be considered for assignment by computer draw to institutions that remain vacant from the announced quotas.
- According to the Board of Education and Discipline decisions, applicants to be assigned in the field of information technologies who hold degrees in computer and instructional technologies teaching, mathematics–computer departments, statistics and computer sciences, computer technology departments, computer technology and information systems departments, information technologies departments, or management information systems departments will be placed in educational institutions other than vocational and technical secondary education institutions.
