Following the announcement made through the e-Government system, the query page for contracted teacher oral interview results became available and candidates have begun checking their results through the system. To query your contracted teacher interview results, log in to the e-Government system and follow the requested instructions to complete your inquiry.
The publication of the contracted teacher interview results was confirmed by Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk. Earlier, Minister Selçuk had announced the appointment process for 20,000 teachers. After that announcement, candidates who completed their interviews began counting down to the results. As of today, the contracted teacher interview results are available. You can access the results via the e-Government system.
With the interview phase complete, the process now moves to appointment preferences. The 2020 contracted teacher appointment preference period will take place between March 9 and March 13, 2020. The results of those placement preferences will be announced on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
How Will the Contracted Teacher Placement Process Work?
How will contracted teacher placements be carried out? Candidates who score 60 or above in the oral exam will be allowed to electronically select up to 40 educational institutions as their preferences.
- Preferences may be made voluntarily among institutions located in the same province or in different provinces.
- Preferences must be approved by any provincial or district National Education Directorate.
- Candidates may change their preferences until they receive approval from the provincial or district National Education Directorate.
- As an option outside of their preferences, candidates must choose one of the following:
- I do not want to be assigned to institutions outside my preferences,
- I want to be assigned to institutions outside my preferences,
- Candidates are required to select one of these options.
Candidates who are not placed in any of their listed preferences, and those who selected option 9.5.2, will be considered for assignment by computer lottery to the remaining vacancies among the announced quotas.
According to the Board of Education and Discipline, candidates applying to be assigned in the field of information technologies must prefer institutions other than vocational and technical secondary education institutions if they graduated from the following programs:
- Computer and Instructional Technologies Teaching,
- Mathematics – Computer program,
- Statistics and Computer Sciences,
- Computer Technology program,
- Computer Technology and Information Systems program,
- Information Technologies program graduates,
- Management Information Systems program graduates,
These graduates will be able to choose educational institutions outside of vocational and technical secondary education institutions when indicating their placement preferences.
