WHEN ARE EXTRA LESSON FEES PAID?

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EXTRA LESSON HOURS A TEACHER CAN RECEIVE?
A teacher can be compensated for up to 18 hours of extra lessons per week. Any extra lesson hours beyond 18 are not paid. However, duties such as dormitory supervision, exercise sessions, and workplace inspections are handled separately and may be paid.
HOW MANY EXTRA LESSON HOURS CAN VOCATIONAL TEACHERS RECEIVE?
Vocational teachers can receive up to 20 hours of paid extra lessons per week. Evening schools, public education activities and similar work are not counted in this limit.
HOW MANY EXTRA LESSON HOURS DO CLASSROOM TEACHERS RECEIVE?
Classroom teachers typically receive 20 hours of extra lesson pay per week. Additional activities such as clubs, exercise sessions, or courses can be added on top of this.
ARE EXTRA LESSONS PAID ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?

IS EXTRA LESSON PAID IF THERE ARE NO STUDENTS?
Whether extra lesson pay is provided when no students are present depends on school administration decisions and current regulations. There are court rulings that require payment in some cases.
HOW MANY EXTRA LESSON HOURS ARE DEDUCTED FOR A TEACHER WHO TAKES A 1-DAY MEDICAL LEAVE?
If a teacher takes a one-day medical leave, the extra lesson fee is reduced based on the number of lessons scheduled for that day.
IF A TEACHER TAKES 3 DAYS OF LEAVE, IS EXTRA LESSON PAY REDUCED?
If a teacher is on a three-day medical leave, their extra lesson pay is also reduced. The teacher will not receive extra lesson payments for those days.
