Bank working hours in 2020: opening and closing times. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, banks adjusted their hours and operated between 12:00 and 17:00. From March 23, 2020 this reduced schedule was applied nationwide. With the announcement of the normalization plan, banks have begun returning to regular hours. As the pandemic situation improved, some banks announced steps toward normalization and changed branch hours accordingly. Below are the updated opening and closing times for each bank as communicated by the banks themselves.
Isbank (İş Bankası)
Isbank switched to shortened hours of 12:00–17:00 from March 23, 2020 after the coronavirus spread. Following the government’s May normalization announcement, Isbank decided to resume full-day branch service. From Monday, May 11, 2020, Isbank branches returned to their regular schedule and operate between 09:00–12:30 and 13:30–17:00.
Denizbank
Denizbank adjusted branch hours to 09:00–17:00 starting Monday, May 11.
QNB Finansbank
QNB Finansbank announced that, as of Monday, May 11, 2020, its branches would operate from 09:00 to 17:00.
TEB
TEB stated that from Tuesday, May 5, pilot branches would operate from 09:00 to 17:00. In its messages to customers the bank emphasized continued preference for mobile and internet banking for routine transactions.
Şekerbank
Şekerbank announced branch hours of 10:00–17:00.
Banks Continuing the Recommended Reduced Hours
Some banks chose to continue following the recommended reduced hours and did not immediately return to full-day branch schedules. Until they announce changes, these banks maintained hours of 12:00–17:00:
