Good news for public-sector workers: additional allowance payments will be made today. The Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, announced details about the additional allowance payments, confirming that the first installment will be paid today. Minister Selçuk stated that the first installment for 2020, corresponding to 13 days, will be paid on 31.01.2020. The additional allowance is a right guaranteed by law, and all public-sector workers are eligible for it.
Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk has delivered welcome news to public employees. She confirmed that the first 13-day installment of the additional allowance will be transferred to accounts today, 31.01.2020. She also noted that underground mine workers will receive their additional allowance payment for the year on 23.12.2020.
Additional Allowance Payments Are Being Made Today
Additional allowance payments for public-sector employees are being disbursed today. The first installment will be transferred to accounts today. In her statement, Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk said: “The first additional allowance payment, which covers 13 days, will be paid on January 31, 2020. The second installment of the additional allowance will be credited to accounts on May 22, 2020.”
Minister Selçuk also stated that the full additional allowance payment for underground mine workers will be transferred on December 23, 2020.
