IGDAŞ Launches Interest-Free Installment Campaign for Natural Gas Bills! With the arrival of the winter months, IGDAŞ has introduced an interest-free installment payment option to make it easier for consumers to pay their natural gas bills. The campaign, designed to ease bill payments, has been arranged in partnership with a total of 13 banks.
Organized as an initiative connected to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, IGDAŞ runs this annual campaign to provide payment flexibility for natural gas bills. For this year’s campaign, IGDAŞ reached agreements with 13 banks to offer credit card installment plans without additional interest.
The joint campaign between the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and IGDAŞ will run through May 31, 2020. Only QNB Finansbank participates until March 31, 2020. Banks that allow installment payments by credit card are listed below. Accordingly, customers with natural gas bills of 100 TL and above can pay in 3 installments using the credit cards of the banks listed.

How will installment payments work for IGDAŞ natural gas bills? As winter arrives, many residents face higher natural gas bills and difficulty paying them. To help ease that burden, IGDAŞ has introduced an installment option to facilitate bill payments.
For 2020, IGDAŞ reached agreements with 13 banks to allow payments by credit card in installments. Except for QNB Finansbank, which participates until March 31, 2020, all other participating banks will offer installment payment options until May 31, 2020. Halkbank provides 4 installments for bills of 100 TL and above, while the other 12 banks offer 3-installment options for eligible bills.
To pay IGDAŞ natural gas bills in installments by credit card, follow the specified payment procedures. To use Halkbank’s 4-installment option, payments must be made at IGDAŞ payment offices. For installment payments using the other participating bank credit cards, you can pay either at IGDAŞ payment offices or online via the IGDAŞ web payment portal.
Regarding the interest-free installment facilitation for natural gas bill payments, IGDAŞ General Manager Dr. Mithat Bülent Özmen stated that IGDAŞ delivers natural gas—an economical and environmentally friendly fuel—to all subscribers across Istanbul in a continuous and safe manner. Compared with other fossil fuels, natural gas is cleaner and more environmentally friendly, and its use does not contribute to air pollution in the city; it is also convenient and easy to use.
Dr. Mithat Bülent Özmen noted that cold weather has increased natural gas consumption. To help subscribers manage higher heating costs, IGDAŞ launched the installment campaign. By negotiating with banks, they secured participation for the campaign. His stated goal is to make life easier for IGDAŞ subscribers by providing payment flexibility.
