According to a breaking announcement from the Ministry of National Education, Minister Ziya Selçuk has stated that applications for contracted teaching positions will be completed electronically. In his statement, Minister Selçuk explained that the contract-based teacher application process planned for June 2020 will be handled entirely through online systems.

Minister Selçuk released the contracted teacher announcement in writing. In a written post on social media, he reiterated that applications for contracted teaching positions will be accepted only through online channels.

In his post, Minister Selçuk wrote: “The contracted teacher applications to be held in June will be carried out entirely electronically.” He also outlined the steps teacher candidates should follow during the application process and extended his good wishes to applicants, saying “May your appointments be beneficial.”

How Is the 2020 Contracted Teacher Application Process Conducted?

How is the 2020 contracted teacher application process conducted? According to Minister Ziya Selçuk’s recent announcement, applications will open in June and will follow a structured online procedure.

Teacher candidates who wish to apply will be able to log in to the system using their e-Government credentials at ilkatama.meb.gov.tr. Applicants must enter the teaching field they are applying for, their graduation details, and all relevant information about their pedagogical formation or teacher training accurately and completely.
