Track PTT Shipment: Check Parcel Status Online

The best-known postal organization in our country is PTT, the General Directorate of Post and Telegraph. In addition to traditional mail services, PTT has expanded into parcel and cargo delivery. PTT Cargo began operations in 2008 and continues to provide services today. Tracking and inquiry services for PTT shipments have become increasingly important, so this article explains how to perform PTT shipment tracking.

Every day, parcels and letters are sent across the country and delivered to their recipients. When we send a package, we naturally want to know where it is during transit and when it will arrive. For those situations, PTT shipment tracking is available online. All you need is the barcode number provided when you handed the parcel to PTT for shipment.

PTT handles not only letters but a wide range of items. Although letters have declined with the rise of messaging apps and email, demand for parcel services has continued to grow. PTT remains a trusted option for sending goods nationwide.

Ways to Track a PTT Shipment

You can track a PTT shipment through two primary websites: PTT’s official website and the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal. Both platforms allow you to perform shipment tracking. Below we explain how to use each service.

Tracking via the PTT Website

Tracking a PTT shipment on the official PTT website is straightforward. During the tracking process, the site may request a few details about your parcel; these are found on the receipt or document provided by PTT when you handed in the shipment.

To track a package on PTT’s site, enter the barcode number from your receipt and the security code shown on the page, then click the query or search button. The system will display the parcel’s current status and the processing steps it has gone through, so you can easily follow its progress.

Tracking via e-Government (e-Devlet)

You can also track PTT shipments through the e-Government portal. The e-Government platform has made many public services faster and reduced long queues at institutions.

To use e-Government services you need an e-Government password. You can obtain this password from any PTT branch for a fee. After receiving the password, log in to the e-Government system with your national ID number and password.

On the e-Government page for PTT tracking, you will be asked to enter the barcode number listed on the document given to you when you shipped the parcel, along with the security code. After entering this information, click the query button to complete the tracking process. The portal will show where your parcel is, which steps it has gone through, and if delivered, when it reached the recipient.
