Vehicle Damage History Check

You can complete transactions within minutes using institutions’ online services. Many tools have been developed specifically for vehicle checks and are now available. When buying or selling a used vehicle, it is important to learn which procedures the vehicle has gone through. In such cases, you should obtain reliable information about the condition of the vehicle. That information will reveal whether the vehicle has been recorded as a total loss (salvage) following an accident. Until recently, you would have had to visit institutions in person to check a vehicle’s total-loss record; now the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (Sigorta Bilgi ve Gözetim Merkezi) provides an online pert (total-loss) record lookup with three different query options. By entering the required information in one of these options, you can complete the check in minutes. Read on to learn how to perform a pert record inquiry.

How to Perform a Pert (Total-Loss) Record Inquiry

You can make a pert record inquiry from your mobile phone as well as from a desktop. To perform the check online, use the official Tramer website and the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center system.

To start your pert record inquiry, click the link provided at the end of our article. On the official page that opens, choose one of the available query options: “Plate and Insured T.C. Identity Number,” “Plate and Insured Tax ID Number,” or “Plate and Driver T.C. Identity Number.” Select the option you prefer and enter the requested information. Next, type the security code shown in the image into the field labeled “Enter the characters in the image.” Finally, complete the search by clicking the “Search” button.

You can also perform a pert record inquiry via SMS from your mobile phone. In the SMS body, enter your vehicle’s chassis number, leave a space, then enter the engine number, and send the message to 5664 to receive the information.
