Breaking: Double Fuel Price Cuts Announced

Breaking news: double discounts have been applied to fuel prices. According to the latest reports, reductions will take effect tonight at 00:01 for both diesel and gasoline. From midnight, gasoline will see a reduction of 0.31 Turkish lira per liter and diesel will be reduced by 0.41 Turkish lira per liter. These cuts were announced by the Energy, Petroleum and Gas Supply Stations Employers’ Union and will be reflected in pump prices accordingly.

Fuel prices are set by refineries based on the average price of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and fluctuations in the exchange rate. After refineries calculate base prices, distribution companies set pump prices. Because of market competition and local differences, prices applied by retailers can vary slightly between companies and cities.

Fuel Prices After the Reduction

After the discount is passed on to pumps, gasoline and diesel prices by city will be as follows.

Diesel Prices

  • Ankara: 4.86 TL
  • Istanbul: 4.78 TL
  • Izmir: 4.89 TL

Gasoline Prices

  • Ankara: 4.97 TL
  • Istanbul: 4.83 TL
  • Izmir: 5.00 TL
