Breaking News: MEB İOKBS Scholarship Exam Postponed! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of National Education (MEB) has once again changed the date for the İOKBS scholarship exam. The exam, intended for students in grades 5 through 11, has been rescheduled to 5 September 2020. After the pandemic forced another date change, candidates began searching for the new exam date for the 2020 İOKBS scholarship test.

The Ministry of National Education announced another change to the date of the Primary and Secondary Education Institutions Scholarship Exam (İOKBS). The scholarship exam for grades 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 has been adjusted again because of the pandemic. The exam had previously been postponed and set for 6 June 2020, but the latest announcement changes the date once more. The new date determined for the İOKBS scholarship exam is Saturday, 5 September 2020.

When Will the 2020 İOKBS Scholarship Exam Be Held?

When will the 2020 İOKBS scholarship exam be held? According to the Ministry of National Education’s announcement, the İOKBS exam, originally planned for 6 June 2020, has been postponed again due to the pandemic. As a result, the Primary and Secondary Education Institutions Scholarship Exam for 2020 has been rescheduled to Saturday, 5 September 2020. The İOKBS scholarship exam for 2020 will take place on 5 September 2020.

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk also clarified which parts of the curriculum students will be responsible for in the İOKBS exam scheduled for 5 September 2020. Minister Selçuk stated that students taking the İOKBS will be held responsible only for the first-term curriculum and learning outcomes of their current grade. Previously, 10th- and 11th-grade students had been required to know the full 9th-grade curriculum; however, the scope has been narrowed. Now, 10th- and 11th-grade students will be responsible only for the 9th-grade first-term curriculum and its outcomes.
