Breaking News: TEDAŞ Announces Restructuring of Those Debts! According to a statement from Türkiye Elektrik Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi (TEDAŞ), agricultural irrigation debts have been restructured. A total of 22,015 subscribers had debts amounting to 493,316,464 TL restructured under this initiative. Subscribers who applied for restructuring by the end of September 2021 will have their debts reorganized into three installments, payable once per year and without interest.

Under the restructuring effort, the company has restructured the debts of 22,015 subscribers totaling 493,316,464 TL in accordance with Laws No. 6824 and 7061. Work on restructuring for another 39,169 subscribers is ongoing. For the 39,169 subscribers who have not applied for restructuring, TEDAŞ’s total receivable amounts to 1,521,489,409 TL.
Subscribers who owe money to TEDAŞ must submit written applications to the electricity distribution or retail sales companies serving their region, or directly to TEDAŞ, so that TEDAŞ receives them by the end of September 2021. Approved applications allow debts to be paid in three interest-free installments, with one payment per year. For those who request restructuring, the first installment payment will be due in October 2021.
