What Is the E-Government Debt Inquiry and Bağ-Kur Debt Status?

Bağ-Kur debt status refers to debts that occur when your Bağ-Kur contributions are overdue; these contributions are required to maintain social and health insurance coverage. To continue benefiting from coverage provided by institutions such as Bağ-Kur, it is recommended that you pay your contributions on time. How to Perform an E-Government Debt Inquiry

First, you should know that the E-Government debt inquiry is carried out online. To start this process you will need an E-Government password. If you do not have an E-Government password, you can obtain one at any PTT branch for a small fee.

After you have your password, follow the steps below:

  • Go to the e-government website address provided to you.
  • Complete the identity verification step under “Verify my identity now.”
  • Click on the “Log in with E-Government password” section.
  • Enter your Turkish ID number (T.C. identification number) and your E-Government password.
  • Then press the login button to sign in to the system.

After completing these steps, your E-Government debt inquiry will be processed. You will then be able to view your 4B debt status.
