With the normalization process underway, on-the-job training programs for young people have picked up pace. Within these programs, participants can receive daily allowances up to 100 TL and monthly payments reaching approximately 2,600 TL. As businesses return to normal operations, vocational training courses, active labor force services and on-the-job training programs are again accelerating. İŞKUR organizes these programs with the aim of opening employment opportunities by enabling more than 500,000 young people and women to benefit from on-the-job training and active labor services through the end of the year.

How Long Do İŞKUR On-the-Job Training Programs Last?

On-the-job training programs generally last between 6 and 9 months. Through İŞKUR’s programs, young people both gain practical work experience and receive an allowance during their training period. Participants in standard on-the-job training receive a daily payment of 89.4 TL. For students this payment is 67.05 TL per day, while those receiving unemployment benefits are paid 44.70 TL per day. In programs focused on future-oriented occupations, participants can receive daily payments up to 100 TL.

Training provided at workplaces operating in the information technology and manufacturing sectors typically lasts 6 months. For young people aged 18–29, training in areas considered future professions—such as cybersecurity, cloud computing and coding—can extend up to 9 months. At a daily rate of 89.4 TL and assuming 26 working days per month, participants can receive about 2,324 TL monthly. For programs in future-oriented fields, this monthly amount can rise to approximately 2,600 TL depending on the training.

What Are the Requirements for İŞKUR On-the-Job Training Programs?

Young people who wish to receive the daily 100 TL payment must meet certain conditions:

  • Be registered as unemployed with İŞKUR;
  • Be at least 15 years old;
  • Not be a first-degree relative or direct blood relative of the employer;
  • Not be retired;
