The Minister shared nationwide figures related to the epidemic. In the last 24 hours, 18 people have died. Meanwhile, the number of new confirmed coronavirus cases detected in the same period is 1,374.

Minister Koca noted that today’s case count is 18 higher than yesterday’s and that 160 more patients recovered today compared with the previous day. The increase in intensive care patients remains within an expected range. He warned that while the country is determined to reduce case numbers, we are not being sufficiently careful about the precautions taken. In a Twitter post, Minister Koca published the updated coronavirus statistics for the country.

According to the table, 51,014 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, identifying 1,374 new cases. With these latest tests included, the total number of tests conducted to date has reached 3,331,158. The cumulative case count now stands at 198,613. With today’s fatalities, the total death toll has risen to 5,115. Today’s recoveries number 1,214, bringing the total recovered cases to 171,809. After today’s cases, the total number of patients in intensive care is 1,018, and the total number of intubated patients is 375.
