Intercity Bus Ticket Prices Reduced! During the coronavirus pandemic, fare caps were introduced to maintain social distancing. As part of the normalization process, price ranges have been re-evaluated and bus ticket fares have been reduced by up to 30%. Under the new arrangements, an Istanbul–Bodrum ticket that had recently been sold for 220 TL was discounted by up to 30%, bringing the sale price down to 165 TL.
Following the latest regulations, bus ticket prices have been adjusted across routes, with discounts of up to 30% applied. For example, the Istanbul–Bodrum route, previously offered at 220 TL, is now available for 165 TL after the reduction.
How Much Are Bus Tickets After the New Regulation?
After the new regulation, maximum fares for certain routes are set as follows: Istanbul–Antalya at 165 TL per person, Istanbul–Ayvalık at 120 TL, Ankara–Alanya at 120 TL, Istanbul–Trabzon at 190 TL, and Ankara–Diyarbakır at 190 TL. According to companies selling tickets online, during the peak of the pandemic fares had been higher—sometimes more than double—because of isolation rules and the requirement to leave the adjacent seat empty. All coronavirus-related precautions were reflected in ticket prices.
