İŞKUR Entrepreneurship Training Programs

Individuals who want to start or develop their own businesses can benefit from İŞKUR’s Entrepreneurship Training Programs, but they must first be registered with the agency. The basic entrepreneurship training follows the principles set out in the Practical Entrepreneurship Training Protocol between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) and İŞKUR.

The Entrepreneurship Training Program teaches participants how to develop a business idea, conduct market research, and prepare for production, management, marketing, business planning, and financial planning. The curriculum is designed to guide those who want to open a business or grow an existing one.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a Practical Training Participation Certificate. This certificate is required to apply for KOSGEB’s New Entrepreneur Support.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Not have previously benefited from the same entrepreneurship training program

Registered individuals, including business owners who wish to expand their operations, can apply for the entrepreneurship training programs. Program Duration and Content

The basic entrepreneurship training consists of classroom sessions and workshop activities. The total duration is 70 hours, typically completed over 9 to 15 days.

The training is delivered under the protocol signed with KOSGEB. The program’s modules cover the relevant topics and time allocations agreed upon in that protocol.

Payments and Benefits Provided by İŞKUR

Participants in the program receive a daily pocket allowance of 20 TL. İŞKUR also covers insurance contributions for work accidents, occupational diseases, and general health insurance during the program period.

Other Important Program Details

Attendance is mandatory for participants. Absences are allowed only for justified reasons and must not exceed one-tenth of the total training time. Participants who do not comply with these attendance rules are removed from the program.
