UNEMPLOYMENT AND PART-TIME WORK ALLOWANCES WILL BE PAID
The Ministry also announced measures for residents in the earthquake-affected provinces. Following the destructive quake that impacted 11 provinces centered on Kahramanmaraş, unemployment and short-time working allowances for those in the affected areas were advanced. These payments were moved up and credited to beneficiaries’ accounts on February 15. Due to the disaster, salaries for civil servants and pensions for retirees were deposited into accounts earlier than their normal payment dates.
