Minister Pakdemirli Announced: Those Payments Will Be Made Today! Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli announced that these payments will be made to producers after 18:00 today. According to the latest breaking news, payments for oilseed support and agricultural irrigation electricity support will be transferred to producers’ accounts after 18:00 today. The total amount to be paid has been stated as 1,469,303,000 Turkish Lira.
Minister Pakdemirli also reported the total amount of support paid since the beginning of 2020, which has reached 15.2 billion TL. He noted that 69.5% of the 22 billion TL agricultural support budget allocated for 2020 has already been disbursed. Announcing this good news to farmers, Minister Pakdemirli stated that the combined payments for oilseed support and agricultural irrigation electricity support, totaling 1,469,303,000 TL, will be transferred to accounts starting from 18:00 today.
Minister Pakdemirli Specified the Payment Breakdown
Minister Pakdemirli detailed the distribution of the upcoming payments. Under the oilseed support program, payments totaling 1,434,000,000 TL will be made to 50,629 producers. For the Agricultural Irrigation Electricity Support, payments of 35,303,000 TL will be credited to producers’ accounts. The combined payment amount is 1,469,303,000 TL, and transfers will be executed based on the last digit of producers’ T.C. identity numbers.
The schedule for payments according to the last digit of T.C. identity numbers, announced by Minister Bekir Pakdemirli, is as follows:
- Last digit 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9: after 18:00 on 19 June 2020
- Last digit 4, 6: after 18:00 on 26 June 2020
- Last digit 8: after 18:00 on 03 July 2020
Producers should verify their bank accounts and ensure that their registered account information is up to date with the relevant agricultural support authorities to receive these transfers without delay.
