Minister Zehra Zümrüt Announced: 18 More Drugs Added to the Reimbursement List! According to the latest breaking news, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk announced that 18 additional medicines have been added to the reimbursement list. Of these, one is a cancer medication and the other 17 include treatments for various conditions. Minister Selçuk issued a written statement following the Extraordinary Drug Reimbursement Commission meeting regarding the regulation implemented by the Social Security Institution (SGK).

Minister Selçuk Announces: 18 More Drugs Added to the Reimbursement List

Minister Selçuk stated that the commission convened to take urgent measures for medicines that are difficult to obtain, are vital for patients, or have significant public health implications. As a result of those decisions, a total of 18 medicines—including one cancer drug—have been included in the reimbursement list.

According to the minister’s statement, with the addition of these 18 medicines, the total number of licensed drugs on the reimbursement list has reached 8,265. The newly listed medicines will be available from pharmacies that have contracts with SGK. Minister Selçuk expressed her hope that these additions will bring relief and healing to patients. The updated list includes one cancer drug and two medicines used for musculoskeletal conditions, among others.
