National Palaces Administration Hiring 222 Staff With and Without KPSS

The National Palaces Administration published a recruitment announcement on December 8, 2023. According to this announcement, the Administration will hire contracted personnel under Civil Servants Law No. 657 for various positions and will also recruit workers under Labor Law No. 4857. In total, 222 people will be employed. Details about the positions and application requirements follow.

National Palaces Administration — Distribution of 222 Recruitment Positions

For the recruitment of 222 personnel, the National Palaces Administration will appoint 200 contracted staff across seven different roles and 22 permanent workers across six different trades.

The 200 contracted personnel positions are as follows:

  • 133 Protection and Security Officers,
  • 30 Support Staff,
  • 16 Restorers,
  • 8 Technicians,
  • 7 Imam–Preachers,
  • 3 Technical Specialists,
  • 2 Museum Attendants,
  • 1 Office Staff.

The 22 permanent worker positions are as follows:

  • 7 Construction Masters,
  • 7 Scaffolding Masters,
  • 3 Carpet Repair Masters,
  • 2 Clock Repair Masters,
  • 1 Wood Carving Master,
  • 1 Wood Turning Master,
  • 1 Wicker Repair Master.

What Are the Application Requirements for the 222 Contracted Personnel?

Candidates applying for contracted personnel and worker positions are generally expected to meet the following basic requirements:

  • Be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey.
  • Not be deprived of public rights.
  • For male candidates, have completed military service or have no outstanding military obligation.
  • Have no criminal convictions that would disqualify them.
  • Obtain a positive result from the required security clearance and archive investigation.

In addition to these conditions, candidates must be under 35 years old as of the application deadline. For positions filled using KPSS scores, applicants must have achieved at least 60 points in the 2022 KPSS: P94 for high school graduates, P93 for associate degree graduates, and P3 for bachelor’s degree graduates. Although no KPSS score is required for permanent worker positions, candidates must have completed at least primary school. Recruitment for certain vacancies may prioritize high school, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree graduates depending on the available quota.
