Social Security (SGK) SMS Notification Registration System

The SGK SMS notification registration system allows citizens to receive important updates from the Social Security Institution (Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu) via text message. By enrolling in the SGK SMS notification system, you can get alerts about pharmacy co-payments, bank transfers, e-prescription details, report fees and the status of transactions performed through SGK. These messages are sent directly to the registered mobile number, helping users stay informed about their social security-related matters.

How to Register for the SGK SMS Notification System

Registration for the SGK SMS notification system is done easily through the e-Devlet (gov.tr) portal. Follow these steps to register your mobile number and enable SMS notifications:

  • Go to gov.tr and sign in with your Turkish ID number (TC) and e-Devlet password.
  • Navigate to E Hizmetler > Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu > Diğer Hizmetler > SGK Cep Telefon Bilgisi Beyanı.
  • Choose the SGK Cep Telefon Bilgisi Beyanı option, click on the new registration choice, and follow the prompts to enter and confirm your mobile number for the SGK SMS notification system.

After completing these steps, your mobile number will be registered for SGK SMS notifications. The same menu can be used later to update or manage your SMS settings. Once registered, you will receive free text messages for actions taken in your name by SGK, including notifications about contribution payments, e-prescriptions, report charges and similar items.

How to Cancel the SGK SMS Notification Registration

If you want to remove or cancel a registered number, you can do so via the e-Devlet service. Sign in with your TC number and password, follow the same navigation path described above, and in the relevant menu check the “Bilgilendirme metnini okudum ve onaylıyorum” option if required, then select the delete option to remove the registered phone number from the system.

How to Update the Registered Number

To change the mobile number registered in the SGK SMS notification system, log into e-Devlet with your TC number and password, go to E Hizmetler > Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu > Diğer Hizmetler > SGK Cep Telefon Bilgisi Beyanı, and use the “Güncelle” (Update) option displayed in the menu to enter a new phone number. The update takes effect after confirmation, ensuring that future notifications are sent to the new number.

Is the SGK SMS Notification Service Free?

The SGK SMS notification system is free of charge. The Social Security Institution does not charge recipients for the informational messages it sends. As long as you have an active e-Devlet account and you enable SMS notifications through the portal, you will receive messages at no cost.
