When will the 2020 support payments for farmers and producers be made? According to an announcement by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Bekir Pakdemirli, agricultural support payments will begin to be disbursed today as of 18:00. The total amount of support to be paid to producers is 331,637,000 TL. Minister Pakdemirli stated that payments will be distributed as follows:
- 420 producers for forage crops,
- 64 producers for beekeeping,
- 125 producers for biological control,
The minister also confirmed that the payments will be transferred to farmers’ accounts at Ziraat Bank.

The support payments to be made after 18:00 on 06.03.2020 are detailed below. Payments for Beekeeping Support, Forage Crops Support, and Biological and Biotechnical Control Support will be made to producers in a single transfer starting at 18:00 today. The payments and their totals are as follows.
- Beekeeping Support Payments: to 51,064 enterprises covering 6,461,390 colonies, amounting to 97 million TL,
- Forage Crops Support Payments: in 19 provinces to 84,420 producers, totaling 234 million TL,
- Biological and Biotechnical Control Support Payments: in 11 provinces to 125 producers, totaling 637,000 TL.
