As of 2023, government agencies continue to provide social assistance to those in need. Within this framework, details have been established for a 5,100 TRY support payment to students. The application portal is now open for assistance that will be provided to primary, middle and high school students, with payments starting at a minimum of 5,100 TRY.
In addition to the social assistance given to low-income and needy families, there are targeted supports for children from these households who are enrolled in school. Under the Achievement Incentive Program announced by President Erdoğan, the state will provide financial support to successful students.

HOW TO RECEIVE THE ACHIEVEMENT INCENTIVE SUPPORT?
Applications have begun for the achievement incentive support recently announced by President Erdoğan. These payments are intended for students who attend public schools and meet certain success criteria, provided their families already receive social assistance. Following the announcement of the Achievement Incentive Program, applicants and families have closely followed the eligibility requirements and application details.
Support payments vary by education level and require students to meet specific conditions. Provided twice a year, these payments are reserved for children of families eligible for social assistance who attend public schools. The new supports announced for the year aim to help many students continue their education more comfortably. Payments to children from needy families who attend public schools and finish among the top ranks will be provided at varying amounts depending on the student’s level and achievement.

HOW MUCH IS THE ACHIEVEMENT INCENTIVE SCHOLARSHIP?
For students from families receiving social assistance who attend public schools and meet the achievement criteria, support payments start at 5,100 TRY. Depending on the student’s education level, the scholarship can rise up to the equivalent of the net minimum wage. Achievement incentive payments can reach up to 8,506 TRY.
Primary and secondary students from eligible families who rank among the top performers may receive up to 60% of the net minimum wage, while higher education students may receive support up to the full net minimum wage for each term. These payments are disbursed twice a year and require that students satisfy the stated eligibility conditions.
