During winter months, the Ministry offers winter assistance of up to 2,760 TL to citizens whose need for financial support increases. Applications are made via e-Devlet and payments are delivered through PTT so eligible households can access government support. Applicants must meet certain criteria to qualify for these benefits.
HOW MUCH IS THE NATURAL GAS CONSUMPTION SUPPORT?
The Ministry of Family and Social Services continues to provide Natural Gas Consumption Support for those in need. With recent increases in natural gas prices, many low-income families have struggled to pay their gas bills. The government assistance aims to provide between 900 TL and 2,500 TL per household to help cover these costs.
The amount paid under the Natural Gas Consumption Support varies depending on several factors. To receive this support applicants must be Turkish citizens, reside in an area with natural gas supply, have the bill registered to a residential subscriber group, and be recognized as eligible by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation (SYDV).
HOW TO APPLY FOR NATURAL GAS CONSUMPTION SUPPORT?
Those who wish to benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support can complete the application steps through e-Devlet after logging in with their Turkish ID number and e-Devlet password. Applicants must meet the specified eligibility requirements. Applications can be submitted easily via the “Social Assistance Application” service screen on e-Devlet.
HOW MUCH IS THE ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION SUPPORT AND HOW TO RECEIVE IT?
Electricity consumption support is also provided to households in need. Payments range from 130.09 TL to 260.19 TL depending on the number of people in the household and consumption levels. Applicants do not need to submit a separate application; eligible recipients can go to a PTT branch with their ID and electricity bill to receive the payment.
