Following discussions with the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) regarding the Occupational Health and Safety Examination scheduled for December 5, 2015, the information below has been confirmed.
According to the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety’s announcement dated September 10, 2015, on its official website, the final date for completing training programs (including distance learning, formal training and practical training) for candidates taking the exam for the first time was updated from September 20, 2015, to October 16, 2015.
In the Directorate General’s announcement dated July 21, 2015, candidates who lost their exam eligibility, those who were unsuccessful in previous Occupational Health and Safety exams, or those who did not apply for these exams were instructed to complete missing documents through the İSG-KATİP system by September 15, 2015; this deadline was also extended to October 16, 2015.
After October 16, 2015, candidates whose training is incomplete or who submit missing documents will absolutely not be allowed to sit for the exam on December 5, 2015. Candidates must pay close attention when submitting their application for the occupational safety specialist exam. All required documents must be completed and handed over to the authorized person when applying for the exam.
You need an e-Government (E-Devlet) password to access the occupational safety specialist exam application platform. If you do not have an e-Government password, you cannot perform transactions on this platform. To obtain an e-Government password, visit your nearest PTT branch with your identity card and apply for the password. After applying, you must pay a 2 TL processing fee. Once the fee is paid, your e-Government password will be delivered to you in a sealed envelope.
How to Apply for the Occupational Safety Specialist Exam?
At the end of this article we provide the link to the official site where you can submit your occupational safety specialist exam application. On the page that opens, click the “İSG-KATİP Login” option located in the top menu. This will open the e-Government login page. Complete identity verification using your e-Government password and Turkish ID number (T.C. identity number). After entering your T.C. identity number and e-Government password accurately, click “Sisteme Giriş Yap” (Log in to the system). On the following page, click the green “Giriş” (Enter) option. From the menu bar at the top of the opened page, select “Sınav Durumu Sorgulama” (Exam Status Inquiry), enter the requested information—your T.C. identity number, father’s name and date of birth—and click “Sorgula” (Query).
This completes the occupational safety specialist exam application through the system. Candidates registered to take the exam on December 5, 2015, must apply for exam entry through ÖSYM application centers within the dates announced in the “Exam Application Notice.” Candidates who miss the application period for the occupational safety specialist exam will not be allowed to take the exam on December 5, 2015. Similarly, candidates who submit incomplete documents will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
