1300 TL Holiday Cash Support for Parents Before Bayram

Millions of retired citizens in Turkey are awaiting holiday bonus payments ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. At the same time, child support payments that will be issued before the holiday are among the most searched topics. For Eid al-Fitr, retirees received a holiday bonus of 1,100 TL—an amount that had not been adjusted since 2018. The same 1,100 TL holiday payment will be provided for Eid al-Adha.

In addition to the holiday bonuses for retirees, child support payments will be made to families in need. Eligible citizens who submit applications and meet the requirements will receive these payments before the holiday. Payments are provided for up to four children and the amount varies depending on the number of children. Here are the details.

Support Payments to Eligible Beneficiaries Before the Holiday

As a social state, the Republic of Turkey provides various support payments to those in need under different programs. These supports are sometimes offered directly in the form of in-kind assistance such as fuel aid and other times as direct cash assistance. Under the government’s child support program, aid is provided as cash amounts that vary according to the number of children. Citizens who meet the eligibility criteria and submit an approved application will receive these payments.

Child Support Payments for Families in Need

Child support payments for low-income families are delivered by the Ministry of Family and Social Services through Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations (SYDV) under the heading “Birth Assistance.” These annual payments continue in 2022 as well. Eid al-Adha will be observed on July 9.

As citizens search for locations to collect payments before the holiday, the details of these payments have been clarified. The state’s support for families with children is a one-time payment. To qualify for Birth Assistance, the child must have been born alive after May 15, 2015.
