2023: Which Banks Offer How Much Promotion for EYT Retirees?

With the legalization of the EYT regulation, banks have announced the promotional amounts they will offer to EYT retirees. Below are the promotional amounts and details that may influence retirees’ choice of bank.

Akbank

The retirement promotion campaign runs from March 1 to March 31, 2023.

  • For pensions up to 3,499 TL: total 4,200 TL
  • For pensions between 3,500 and 7,499 TL: total 4,850 TL
  • For pensions between 7,500 and 9,999 TL: total 6,250 TL
  • For pensions of 10,000 TL and above: total 7,000 TL

Yapı Kredi

Customers who commit to receiving their SGK retirement pension from Yapı Kredi for three years, between November 1, 2022 and January 31, 2023, can receive up to 7,500 TL in cash pension promotion.

After signing the Promotion Commitment, without any additional conditions:

  • Pensions up to 3,499 TL: 4,200 TL
  • Pensions between 3,500 and 7,499 TL: 4,900 TL
  • Pensions between 7,500 and 9,999 TL: 6,300 TL
  • Pensions above 10,000 TL: 7,000 TL cash promotion

After signing the Additional Reward Commitment, if two new direct-debit bill instructions are given within 60 days, an extra unconditional cash reward of 200 TL will be paid, independent of the pension bracket.

Ziraat Bank

  • Pensions under 3,500 TL: 3,000 TL
  • Pensions between 3,500 and 7,500 TL: 3,500 TL
  • Pensions between 7,500 and 10,000 TL: 4,500 TL
  • Pensions above 10,000 TL: 5,000 TL — all paid as a three-year lump-sum promotion

Denizbank

A special promotion of up to 7,500 TL applies to retirees who retired after February 1, 2023 and have transferred their pension to Denizbank.

Garanti Bank

Garanti BBVA offers promotions up to 8,500 TL to customers who move their pension to the bank.

Retirees who transfer their pension to Garanti can receive up to 8,500 TL in cash promotion. Additionally, using Garanti credit cards may provide bonus opportunities tied to spending.

  • Pensions up to 3,500 TL: 4,500 TL
  • Pensions between 3,500 and 7,500 TL: 5,250 TL
  • Pensions between 7,500 and 10,000 TL: 6,750 TL
  • Pensions of 10,000 TL and above: 7,500 TL cash promotion

EYT retirees with outstanding premium debt can also access EYT premium debt loans with interest rates starting from 1.69%.

QNB Finansbank

QNB Finansbank offers up to 8,000 TL in cash promotion plus an additional annual 1,200 TL discount through the CardFinans retirement credit card, reaching a total potential value of up to 9,200 TL.

  • Pensions 0–3,499 TL: 4,800 TL
  • Pensions 3,500–7,499 TL: 5,600 TL
  • Pensions 7,500–9,999 TL: 7,200 TL
  • Pensions 10,000 TL and above: 8,000 TL

Halkbank

For retirees who receive their pension through Halkbank, the three-year lump-sum promotions are:

  • Pensions under 3,500 TL: 3,000 TL
  • Pensions between 3,500 and 7,500 TL: 3,500 TL
  • Pensions between 7,500 and 10,000 TL: 4,500 TL
  • Pensions above 10,000 TL: 5,000 TL

VakıfBank

VakıfBank pays lump-sum cash promotions for three years to retirees who receive their pension through the bank:

  • Pensions up to (but not including) 3,500 TL: total 3,000 TL for three years
  • Pensions from 3,500 up to (but not including) 7,500 TL: total 3,500 TL for three years
  • Pensions from 7,500 up to (but not including) 10,000 TL: total 4,500 TL for three years
  • Pensions of 10,000 TL and above: total 5,000 TL for three years

İş Bankası

  • Pensions up to (but not including) 3,500 TL: 4,500 TL
  • Pensions from 3,500 up to (but not including) 7,500 TL: 5,250 TL
  • Pensions from 7,500 up to (but not including) 10,000 TL: 6,750 TL
  • Pensions of 10,000 TL and above: 7,500 TL

ING

New retirees who start receiving their pension from ING can benefit from an unconditional cash promotion of up to 7,500 TL. ING’s promotion schedule is:

  • Pensions up to (but not including) 3,500 TL: 4,500 TL
  • Pensions from 3,500 up to (but not including) 7,500 TL: 5,250 TL
  • Pensions from 7,500 up to (but not including) 10,000 TL: 6,750 TL
  • Pensions of 10,000 TL and above: 7,500 TL
