The Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) offers job placement services for people who are unable to find work for various reasons. Each year, through incentives, projects and employment programs, İŞKUR helps hundreds of people secure jobs. From internships and vocational training to programs for hiring people with disabilities and incentives for ex-convicts, the institution plays an important role in creating employment opportunities across many groups. By developing new incentives every year, İŞKUR raises awareness about employment and encourages companies to hire. Recently, it has been particularly noted for its programs addressing youth unemployment.
With its annual incentives and projects, İŞKUR actively participates in job search and recruitment processes to speed them up. Its current services focus on reducing youth unemployment, expanding internship opportunities under İŞKUR’s assurance, encouraging the hiring of recent graduates, and creating positions for people with disabilities and former prisoners in public and private institutions. One common question people have is how to perform an İŞKUR debt inquiry. The section below explains how to check whether you have outstanding debts to İŞKUR and the available methods.
How to Check Debts Owed to İŞKUR
İŞKUR runs many programs and services aimed at employment, and you can check whether you owe debts related to services you received. The fastest and most convenient way to view all İŞKUR debt information is through the e-Government (E-Devlet) portal. E-Devlet services are updated regularly, and among its features you can quickly access both SGK and İŞKUR debt information and detailed records. Below is an overview of how to sign in to E-Devlet and complete a debt inquiry.
To perform an İŞKUR debt query on E-Devlet, you must have an E-Devlet password. If you do not have one, you can obtain it from the nearest PTT branch. You must present an identity card to get the password; the service carries a small fee (2 TL). After receiving your password, you can log in immediately. Use your Turkish ID number (TC Kimlik No) and E-Devlet password to access the E-Devlet portal. If you forget your password, use the “Şifremi Unuttum” (Forgot Password) option on the login page and follow the steps to set a new password.
After signing in to E-Devlet with your Turkish ID and password, navigate to the İŞKUR section in the portal menu to securely and quickly check any debts owed to İŞKUR. If you need to perform a Legal Enforcement (Hukuk İcra) query, you can use İŞKUR’s official enforcement query page by entering your Turkish ID number and SGK number. On the enforcement query page, enter the requested TC ID and SGK numbers to view enforcement case details, related documents and the progress of any legal proceedings. Both systems make it easy and fast to access debt information.
For E-Devlet access you need your Turkish ID number and E-Devlet password. For İŞKUR Legal Enforcement inquiries you will need your TC ID and SGK number. If you do not know your SGK number, you can log in to E-Devlet and view your SGK records and number there.
