Another Petrol Price Cut Is Coming! Factors related to the coronavirus are having a positive effect on gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey. According to the latest breaking news, a second reduction in gasoline prices is being announced. An additional reduction of 0.51 Turkish lira per liter will take effect from midnight tonight. The report does not mention any second reduction for diesel. Brent crude oil prices continue to fall steadily, which is translating into lower gasoline prices.

How Much Will Gasoline Be Reduced?

How much will gasoline be reduced? During the ongoing battle against the coronavirus, Brent crude has been one of the most affected commodities. The price dispute between Saudi Arabia and Russia has pushed Brent prices down day by day. According to the latest nationwide bulletin, an additional cut of 0.51 Turkish lira per liter on gasoline will be applied starting at 24:00 tonight. No second reduction for diesel has been announced yet. After the 0.51 TL reduction, gasoline prices in three major cities will be as follows.

  • Istanbul gasoline per liter: 5.41 TL
  • Ankara gasoline per liter: 5.66 TL
  • Izmir gasoline per liter: 5.64 TL
