The payroll control processes can be carried out through the e-Paystub inquiry page provided by the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal. Recently, many people have wanted to learn the amounts deducted from their salaries, especially due to the mandatory individual pension system. In this article we explain, step by step, how to perform an e-Paystub inquiry.
Checking Your Salary with e-Paystub
To use this service you must first have an activated e-Government account. You can obtain your e-Government password at the nearest PTT branch. A small fee is required to receive the password, which will be delivered to you in a sealed envelope.
With the password you received, log in to the official e-Government website. The login screen will ask for your Turkish ID number (T.C. Kimlik Numarası) and the password you obtained. After entering your information, you will be asked to save your mobile phone number and email address. Once these steps are completed, you can access the Service Inquiry screen.
On the Service Inquiry screen, type “e-Bordro” in the search bar. Click the first result that appears to instantly access your paystub information updated as of the 14th of the month. On this page you can view deductions from your salary, as well as your net and gross pay.
Payroll Calculation
The e-Paystub service is integrated into e-Government as a service offered by the Ministry of Finance.
One of the features of e-Government is that, instead of performing a manual payroll calculation, e-Paystub lets you automatically view all details related to your salary.
This system provides paystubs not only for public servants but also for workers; worker payroll inquiries can also be performed. All deductions and salary details for employees can be viewed via e-Paystub.
If this is your first time logging into e-Government, you may need to update your personal information. Updating your address and contact details improves the security of your account. You should also enter the information required to obtain a new password if you forget it. If you forget your password, you can get a new one at PTT branches, or you can enable the mobile phone number registered in the system and recover your account via SMS. You may also request a new password using an electronic signature, or, if your internet banking has previously been linked to your e-Government account, you can access e-Government through your bank’s internet banking portal to set a new password.
